Mrs. Brewer

Mrs. Star Brewer has been the assistant principal and a middle school teacher at SCS since 2007. She has over twenty years’ teaching experience in both public and Christian schools and has taught grades 4 through 12 during her career. She is currently teaching seventh and eighth grade English and American history and serves as student council advisor in addition to her other administrative duties.

Although she and her family have lived in the Sacramento area for 22 years, she still considers Mountain Home, Arkansas, her home. She and her husband Gary have been married for 28 years and have two grown children.

Mrs. Brewer received her BA degree from Harding University inSearcy, AR, one of the South’s prestigious Christian schools.

Mrs. Brewer is a professional writer who has been published in several magazines. She enjoys writing inspirational pieces and feature writing.

The highlight of her school year is always the junior high mission trip to Gleanings for the Hungry.
